Background:
When adding Charter jet segments via the single segment upload feature it is required to specify the fuel burn. You may receive the fuel burn from your provider. If you do not know the fuel burn but know the aircraft type used, then you can use the attached EXCEL file to determine the fuel burn of the segment.
Note: It is not a requirement to include the aircraft type when uploading the data - this won't be used in the calculation, it is just used for contextual data.
How to use the excel to calculate fuel burn?
Use the attached excel to determine the fuel burn of the charter jet.
First input the distance in kilometres in section 1, then select the aircraft used in section 2. The total fuel burn in tonnes will be stated in section 3
